This listing is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — no hard drive is included. Because we have a large inventory, the exact circuit board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs store unique factory data in a ROM ("memory") chip required for correct operation. The ROM chip itself, or its ROM data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For customers spending $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
