This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: replacement for HDD repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will address your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Ensure compatibility by consulting the Donor Matching Guide. Important technical note: most hard drive circuit boards store unique configuration data in the ROM "memory" chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to function properly; the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If transferring the chip is feasible, a local computer technician should be able to perform the procedure.
