This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Due to large PCB quantity available, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended用途: designed for data recovery and hard drive repair tasks. Compatibility & diagnostics: before ordering, verify that this board is compatible by consulting the Donor Matching Guide and follow our hard drive diagnostics guide to confirm a PCB swap will resolve your issue. Important ROM information: most hard drive PCBs include unique data stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. That ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer professional should be able to perform the transplant. Services we provide: for purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
