This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We hold a large inventory, so the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair or data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Many HDD circuit boards store critical, unique information in the ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function properly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer.
