This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock large quantities, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the pictured item. Intended for data recovery and hard drive repair use. Before ordering, verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and confirming compatibility via the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for proper drive operation and must be transferred or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
