This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. We maintain a large inventory of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Also verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: Most hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM "memory" chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. Services: For purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service — this covers either moving the original ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
