Because we stock a large number of boards, the specific PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photos. This board is intended for hard drive repair or data recovery use. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement circuit board; if physical transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the task.
