This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. We carry a large inventory, so the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. Important: most HDD PCBs contain unique ROM (memory) data required for proper operation. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If relocation of the chip is possible, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant. For customers with orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
