Overview: This Wireless CarPlay retrofit decoder is made for Land Rover and Jaguar vehicles equipped with the Bosch headunit. It adds wireless and wired CarPlay/Android Auto and media features while keeping your factory infotainment intact. Designed for Bosch system — Not compatible with Harman System. Compatible models: Fits Range Rover Evoque first generation (L538 2011-2018); Range Rover Sport 2011-2017; Discovery second generation (L319); Discovery 3 / LR3 (2004-2009); Discovery 4 / LR4 (2009–2016); Discovery Sport first generation (L550 2014-2019). Also suitable for Grand Evoque, Jaguar F-TYPE, Jaguar XF, and Jaguar XE when equipped with the Bosch headunit. What it is: This product is a decoder box (not a replacement screen). Installation requires removing the dashboard and connecting the decoder to the original CD host using the supplied wiring harness. After installation you retain the stock system and gain additional functionality. Features: Supports wireless and wired CarPlay, wireless and wired Android Auto, MirrorLink, YouTube playback, TV news, Photos, and Navigation. Voice assistants are supported — Siri and OK Google voice control keep your hands-on driving. Steering wheel and controls: The decoder maintains some original steering-wheel functions — it supports the voice control button, Tel button and other voice-related buttons. Other steering buttons are not supported. Camera and parking support: Compatible with the factory original reverse camera and parking radar. Also supports aftermarket reverse cameras and 360° camera systems. Front-view camera DVR is supported via CVBS input. Installation notes: You will need to remove the dashboard to access and connect the wires. Common issues are usually caused by incorrect cable connections or settings; we can assist with troubleshooting. Before reinstalling the dashboard, please verify that all functions work correctly.
