Compatible examples include: Panamera(2009-2016 Year), Macan(2014-2016 Year), Cayenne(2010-2016 Year), Boxster(2012-2016 Year), 911(2012-2015 Year), Cayman(2012-2016 Year). Please verify your car’s system before ordering. NOTE: This product is a CarPlay interface decoder box — not a replacement screen. Installation requires removing the dash and connecting to the original CD host unit using the supplied wiring harness. After installation your factory system remains intact while gaining extra features. One-button toggle: Use a long press on the dedicated car knob button to switch between the factory radio interface and the CarPlay system. Returning to the original radio restores all previous functions exactly as before. CarPlay & Android Auto: Supports wireless and wired CarPlay, as well as wireless and wired Android Auto. Also supports Mirrorlink, video playback, TV news, photo viewing and navigation. Voice assistants are supported (siri and google ok voice control) so you can control functions hands-free from the steering wheel. Retains factory features: The decoder works with original car knob control. For steering wheel buttons it supports the voice control button, Tel button and voice buttons; other steering wheel buttons are not supported. Reverse camera support includes factory original reverse camera and parking radar, and it also supports aftermarket reverse cameras and 360° camera systems. Front-view DVR cameras with CVBS input are supported as well. Installation & testing: Dash removal is required to access and connect the wiring. Most issues stem from incorrect cable connections or settings; these can usually be resolved. Please verify all functions are working before reassembling the dashboard.
