The X1008 is a PCIe to Double Solid/Hard Disk expansion board built for RPi5. It accommodates one 1x3.5inch Hard Disk plus a 2.5inch Solid/Hard Disk, enabling large-capacity and high-speed storage configurations. Sata3 interfaces provide transfer rates up to 5Gbps. Power both the X1008 and the RPi5 from a single DC12V adapter via the DC5521Jack — no separate power connection to the RPi5 is required. Note that a 3.5inch Hard disk requires 12V. This design simplifies setup while delivering fast, expanded storage for your RPi5 system.
