The X1008 is a PCIE2.0 PCIe expansion board designed to add dual HDD/SSD support to the RPi 5. It supports 1x3.5inch HDD and 2.5inch HDD/SSD, providing both large-capacity and high-speed storage options so your RPi 5 can fully utilise available storage. The 3.0 interface delivers speeds up to 5Gbps. Power is handled with a single DC12V power adapter connected to the DC5521Jack, which can supply both the X1008 and the RPi 5 so no separate power for the RPi 5 is required. Please note that a 3.5inch HDD requires 12V. This single-adapter power design simplifies installation by eliminating the need for multiple power sources.
