The compact XANTREX Freedom HF 1800 inverter/charger delivers modified sine wave output to run entertainment systems and smaller appliances aboard boats, RVs, and trucks. As the smallest, lightest and most economical unit in the Xantrex lineup, the Freedom HF 1800 is engineered for demanding marine and RV environments. Power and charging: Designed to handle loads such as microwave ovens, TVs, DVD players, small appliances and other electronic equipment. The unit incorporates an automatic three-stage battery charger with temperature-controlled multistage charging to recharge batteries safely and efficiently. A built-in 30-amp relay provides automatic transfer between inverter output and incoming AC utility power. Installation and controls: Can be hardwired using the terminal strip or connected to AC via the included GFIC receptacles. A detachable digital remote control panel (removable display) supplies accurate system information and can be mounted wherever you need it. An automatic transfer switch is also included for seamless source switching. Protections and compliance: Battery over-voltage and under-voltage protection, over-temperature shutdown, automatic overload protection, short-circuit protection and ground-fault protection are all built in. ETL listed for use in mobile RV and marine applications.
