The Yiaieng DP-666 is a portable full-band radio (FM/LW/MW/SW) built around the NXP automotive-grade TEF6686 chip, providing ultra-high sensitivity and improved selectivity for reliable reception. Its DSP tuner incorporates advanced algorithms — CEQ, EMS, iMS and PACS — to tackle multipath distortion, adjacent-channel interference, weak signals and background noise. Firmware is derived from the PE5PVB project and the TEF6686_ESP32 project, enabling features such as RDS display, auto and manual scanning, squelch control, battery-voltage readout and selectable themes. Hardware improvements include matured TEF6686 front-end circuitry and a 2.8-inch resistive touch LCD for clear RDS and menu information while keeping the unit compact. A digital keypad allows fast direct frequency entry, and the built-in 5000mAH battery delivers extended standby runtime for long-lasting portable use.
