Overview: This kit includes an 8CH 4K NVR with a preinstalled 2TB HDD for continuous 24/7 recording and eight 8MP outdoor PoE IP dome cameras with two-way audio and smart person/vehicle detection. It’s designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Expandability: You can add additional ZOSI PoE cameras (8MP, 5MP, or 2MP; bullet or dome). Total cameras connected to the NVR must not exceed 16. Audio notes: The NVR will only send audio to a monitor/TV when that display is connected via HDMI; without an HDMI connection there will be no sound output. To enable or adjust audio: right-click → Main Menu → Set up → Audio, where you can change volume and choose the channel to play. Installation tips for best image quality: place cameras where they have a broad field of view; for outdoor installs a mounting height of 4-8 meters is recommended. Avoid pointing the lens directly toward bright light sources, and try not to install in very dusty environments. Wiring: This is not a wireless system — Ethernet cables are required to connect the cameras to the NVR/control unit. Default display resolution: The NVR ships set to 1024 x 768.
